HVAC FOIL TAPE

The Shurtape HVAC foil tape (e.g. 2.5 in × 60 yd) is a pressure-sensitive aluminum foil tape designed for sealing and encapsulating HVAC ductwork systems, insulation facings, and transitions. It forms an airtight, moisture-resistant bond on ductboard, fiberglass insulation, flexible duct, and metal surfaces. The foil backing provides a durable, heat-resistant barrier, while the adhesive is engineered to remain stable during temperature swings and humidity. It is commonly used in place of mechanical fasteners on rigid ductboard when UL closure is required.
